Columbus wedding! Can anyone recommend any good venues, bakeries, photographers, etc? I'll be getting married in Columbus next year, so the fiance and I are starting our...

The Worthington Inn was reasonably priced and elegant for a more intimate wedding ~40 guests. Highly recommended. Wasn't blown away by the flavor of the wedding cake, but my wife and I thought it looked great (and still does, in pictures). That said, I'd look at a few vendors for the cake.

The Bluestone on broad is pretty cool. They'll do catering, decoration, majority of the planning, IF you use their space as your venue. And it's big enough to hold a ceremony AND reception there. Just don't ask for May 3 rd, that's my wedding date. [link](http://eventsatthebluestone.com/)

I'm usually open to photograph weddings. I typically take more of a photojournalistic type of style, [as seen here](http://imgur.com/a/7 alfV) (except for that third photo). Let me know if that interests you!

If your wedding is going to be on the smaller end, say less than 150 or so, North Bank Park is a really great venue. My wife and I got married there and loved it.

Just got married 2 months ago. We did the wedding and reception at the [OSU Faculty Club](http://www.ohio-statefacultyclub.com/). It was fantastic! Very nice venue, *amazing* food, and they have a coordinator who works with you and was incredibly helpful. If I remember correctly, it was also quite a bit cheaper than the Athenaum and the Bluestone. For cakes, I can't recommend [Bess' Cakery](http://www.besscakery.com/) enough. She was incredibly helpful, the cake (cupcakes in our case) was delicious, and it ended up being very affordable. We did a lot of DIY stuff but ended up keeping our entire budget around $9-10,000 for around 150 people.

My wife and I were very pleased with Taylor Mansion on West Broad. Beautiful grounds and great staff. Prices were reasonable as well.

My friend and her husband had their reception at [The Vault](http://www.vaultbanquets.com/). It was a great venue.

I have worked in floral for many years and as such dealt with lots of wedding planning. I would highly recommend [Posy](http://www.posyflorals.com/) for the most beautiful bouquets and floral decor. If you want AMAZING photos I would recommend [Kelly Maughan Photography](http://www.kellymaughan.com/). PM me if you need any other suggestions.

My Fiance and I are getting married in a month (June 28th) at [Clintonville Women's Club](http://www.clintonvillewomansclub.com/). It's adjacent to Whetstone park, very nice ballroom though not huge (I think their max capacity is 150) hall. Very affordable though. You don't pay for the site, you pay for the catering (which they do in house but was priced about the same as any other caterer ~$35-$45) all the food we tried was very good with multiple vegetarian options (we know lots of vegetarians), though much of it needed just a dash of salt (better under-salted than over though). The lady who does the weddings Kristen is REALLY nice and very helpful. Awesome part is the costs include not just food, but service, plates/silverware, decor (chair covers are extra) and even the cake (by Cakes by Design in Powell). Note: they do not provide any drinks (soft or hard).

My wife and I got married in May of 2011. We had the reception at Creekside. [Creekside](http://www.creeksidecec.com/) It may have been on the more expensive side but it was very much worth it. You should at least check them out. The food was amazing and the staff was wonderful. Our photos were done by Sean Dean. [Sean Dean](http://www.seandeanphotography.com/) Again, a little on the expensive side, but you are given the rights to your photos and the pictures were breathtaking. Our DJ was Ryan Smith [Ryan Smith](http://ryansmithdj.com/) Very reasonably priced. He did a lot of work with us before the wedding. He edited music for our first dance and was able to remove the vocal track from our reception entrance song. Great guy. Our cake was by Dot [Dot](http://www.cakedot.com/) I had nothing to do with this. This part was all my wife, but I can tell you it tasted awesome. We built our own photo booth and it was well worth it. We ended up spending about $500 and we have the digital copy of all the photos individually. We considered this to be our "favors" for the guests. If you ignore everything I recommend, that is fine. However HAVE A PHOTOBOOTH! The pictures from it are incredible and one of my favorite memories of the day. Those were our big vendors. Let me know if you have any questions. Congratulations and remember to make the day about the two of you.

My wife and I got married in April at the Columbus Athenaeum (corner of Gay & 4 th) and it was wonderful. They do their own catering. Our cake was from Bella Luna and she did an amazing job.

We got married last September at dock580 in The Loft (580 N 4 th Street, downtown). It was an amazing wedding but it was a little on the expensive side. The nice thing is that they have no minimum but they do charge a room rental fee. They do the catering and the food was AMAZING. The loft setup was unique, just like the two of us...lol. Very classy joint without being a $20 k wedding.
OMG_its_JasonE replied:
Check out Dock 580. It's got a really cool look with exposed brick everywhere. It fills up fast, next year is already booked up except for November. We booked ours for March and it was one of the last dates before November 2014.

We had an outdoor evening wedding at the [Taylor Mansion](http://www.taylormansioncolumbus.com/) and it was a really great deal. They landscape extremely well so you really don't feel like you are so close to Broad street. You do have to use their catering, but you can bring in your own cake and photographer.
