I used to work in tile and American Olean makes a variety of tile cove bases and end pieces that would be more period appropriate for your mosaic floor and are bullnosed. http://americanolean.com/trim.cfm?tc=30 Unfortunately they don't have any pictures, just diagrams..But here is what you could get- decorative http://1912 bungalow.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/FloorTile_03.jpg or plain - ok, no good pictures were found or just the plain which would look really nice... how irritating.

Also another option that you can go with is to use a white carrara marble saddle. You can cut it with a grinder and a diamond blade. Make sure you use water with a sponge when cutting. When you place the piece make sure you have a small gap at the bottom and top that you will grout it. Here is a link for that.
