Hey guys I am new to the area and am currently looking for a vet for my dog does anyone have a recommendation of a nice and reasonable priced vet in the area?
Deb M. replied:
I will be moving there too soon and can tell you that Hill Crest Animal Hospital was voted "Best Vet" -- I have no idea where they are or if they are good. I was going to check out Conway Animal Clinic501-327-4416 and St. Francis Veterinary Clinic 501-327-9200 when I come to visit the first week of September.
Route 66 Rescue had a dog stolen at the Meet and Greet yesterday. We were in front of PetsWay, 1519 W. Battlefield. Lola is a 3.9 pound, 11 year-old, Yorkie with Avid...

Local vets in Marshfield which is just 13 miles away is Animal Medical Center on Pleasant Prairie Rd & Marshfield Vet Clinic on McNabb Rd. I will share with friends at both places.
Laura S. replied:
ok guys...someone check out Mary Perkins in Conway...I have no car to do it...she's the one I was talking about....got her address...she's a bit of a horder and thinks she can take the best care of dogs...supposedly she likes smaller breeds and is known to be a bit of a thief. I personally do not know her...this is all hear say...her address is 451 s. commercial last house by the railroad tracks.
Diane M. replied:
Most likely,if they don't have the money to pay for her, they don't have a lot of money for a vet. So I'm betting she would take her to Doc Jenkins in lebanon. I live in Conway and will keep my eyes and ears open! Wish I knew what the woman looked like.
Melita W. replied:
Maybe you could contact Ashley Reynolds at KY3 and she can run a story.
Amy C. replied:
Terra Vet, Dr. Margaret Snyder, and Howerton Animal Hospital are all local vets in Lebanon.
Route I. replied:
Does anyone know Mary Perkins at 451 S. Commercial in Conway? What does she look like?
Route I. replied:
Laura Smith, would you be able to print off a copy of the poster and give one to Dr. Jenkins? I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
Megan K. replied:
Try posting on Leigh's Lost and Found. It's the FB page run by Leigh Moody at KSPR. I'd bet she'd help get it publicized.
Charles C. replied:
Battlefield Fire Department near the Manley Subdivision has a yorky that was found on Beechwood just out of Springfield city limits.

There are several Marshfield garage sale sites where tons of animals are listed for sale or trade Ect.... A Ton of people also get pets and claim they can no longer keep them Ect ... U might join those sites see if your baby shows up possibly Conway uses all the Marshfield sites I'm sure Conway has one as well . Also my friends from Conway use Marshfield vets there is only 2 u might call them and one of them takes payments so people that cannot afford care sometimes can workout a payment plan so u might just check with them .praying for u

I used to work with ShihTzu Rescue in FL. We had an incident with a dog falling into the wrong hands that ended up missing. I know what you must be feeling. We posted pictures and signs in the area offering a substantial reward. The dog was returned. Bless you for all that you do for the dogs. With wishes for her Lola's safe and timely return to your loving hands.
Connie F. replied:
Lola is spayed and eleven years old. She sure would not be of any use for that person.
I'm looking for a recommendation of a vet that is great with dogs and that I can whole heartily trust that won't do a bunch of unnecessary testing.

Chestnut Small Animal Clinic has always done an excellent job with my fur kids!
Davia C. replied:
Hartman Animal Hospital off of Hogan road. Dr. Hartman and all the other doctors there are amazing and truly care about your pet. I take all my fur babies to them and absolutely trust them! They do an outstanding job!

The best vet around is in Beebe. Dr. Mann is his name.. he will beat every price around and is animal friendly. His office is next door to the flea market and old cattle auction Barn

Can anyone recommend a rabbit wavy vet in the Conway area?
Arkansas N. replied:
st. Francis is our best recommendation for that area! Anyone else have any good experiences with another rabbit vet? Angelia, if you can make the drive, we have several others recommended on our site - https://docs.com/SIFZ
Which vet office do you guys recommend around Conway?
David L. replied:
Tati and I take Bear Vilonia Animal Clinic. It's a shirt drive, but for us, it is completely worth it because they are amazing. Genuinely caring and considerate people who remember you and your dog every time you go in. They even sent Bear a birthday card. They also take CareCredit
Brandi R. replied:
We like Animal Care Vet Center and they do accept Care Credit
Maggie T. replied:
We use West Prince Animal Hospital. Not sure if they accept care credit but they've been very good to us!!

St Francis is my vet of choice for my pups. Dr C. is awesome
Harlee M. replied:
What is CareCredit? We take Emma to Chestnut Animal Clinic. They are so great with her special needs temperament
David L. replied:
My parents used to use St. Francis until they had an emergency. They took our famiky dog, Dixie, there and needed to work out a payment plan or something because they were gonna charge some exorbitant amount for services and then they turned them away since they couldn't pay in full on the spot(after over four years going there with Dixie our family lab). Anyway, I know everyone's experience is different, but that's actually how we found Vilonia Animal Clinic. They were amazing. Dixie ended up having kidney failure and was eventually put down. But they, without being requested mind you, sent my parents a mold of her paw print and an incredibly thoughtful card with hand written notes from the entire staff. And they had only been to VAC two or three times. To me, there are great clinics out there, but in my opinion, none are as good as VAC.
Amy W. replied:
Archie sees Dr. Stone at St. Francis. He had to be treated for cancer last year, and they were all so great with him.
We always took our pets to Dr. Shaddox at Chestnut. Both out dogs were older and developing health issues, so we definitely trusted his advice and appreciated the way he interacted with them and us!

Where are you located? Coastal Animal Rescue Veterinary Clinic works with you pretty well.

I just had my dogs shots done at Horry County Animal Care Center. I had two dogs vaccinated for $60 ! They were very fast and we were in and out!
Carole R. replied:
Click on this link> > > Horry County Animal Care Center. It's in Conway and has inexpensive shots. That's where Susan (above) just went for shots. Again, not sure if you need something other than shots.
