Ok moms - we need to decide on a pediatrician ASAP, any recommendations?
Rachelle K. replied:
Dr. Climaco
Alicia S. replied:
We were at Climaco's Kids' Kare and like him and nurse practitioners a lot. But we moved everyone to Sat Med when Dr. Dill came to town. (:
Brianne L. replied:
We used Dr. Loghry at Cookeville Peds. We loved her. We probably would not have stayed there, however, because of their staunch pro-vaccine, no-questions-asked policy that came in to play after our kids were established there. We wanted someone we could talk to about the risks/benefits & they were not open to discussion. I don't know if there is a more holistic option in Cookeville these days.
Karen E. replied:
We go to Cookeville Pediatrics - Dr. Batson. Also like either of the Treeces, Loghry, others are good, NPs. (I just don't care for Dr. Franklin.)
Alicia S. replied:
Carla Drake...might have another good perspective. (:
Amanda R. replied:
We love Dr. James Batson at Cookeville Peds
Hannah K. replied:
We go to Dr Climaco and the NPs at Kids Kare. We love Tara, Becky & Kaci...they're all wonderful.
Michelle W. replied:
Cookeville Pediatrics - Dr. Batson! Love him!
Sarah W. replied:
We see Dr Neil Treece at Cookeville Pediatrics... My girls love him. Really any of the drs there would be a good choice.. we have seen at least 3 others there
Leslie R. replied:
Dr. Climaco.....love him!
Kim S. replied:
We use Dr. Chad Griffin. Solid Christian. Listens to my concerns. Always. Worth driving to Sparta. Very personal. Smaller office than Kids Kare. Quicker in and out.
Amy S. replied:
We use Dr. Neal Treece at Cookeville Pediatrics since Elijah was born (he is 7)... Vanderbilt hospital put us in touch with Dr. Treece, he has worked with Vanderbilt. He is very knowledgeable, very good with the kids, calm, and a Christian who supports homeschooling. We have been very pleased to say the least.
Kim S. replied:
Dr. Griffin's wife and he also homeschool their children.
Any recommendations for a good pediatrician in Cookeville?
Amy C. replied:
Leslie Treece at Cookeville Pediatric right next to Wendy's on willow.
Shayna S. replied:

Cadey W. replied:
Ellah goes to Dr. Climaco at Kids Kare. We love it there!
Sara B. replied:
Dr Loyde Franklin. I went to from from the time I was born till I was 18. Best doctor in cookeville
Amy C. replied:
I don't think Dr. Franklin has a very good bedside manner . I've had to see him one time when Elyza was sick and I won't ever see him again.
Dannielle C. replied:
Dr. Loghry at Cookeville Pediatrics is awesome! Boy of my boys love her:)
Dr Collins in Murfreesboro is phenomenal! A bit too far though huh? Lol
Ashley W. replied:
We used Dr Neil Treece in cookeville. I really liked him plus if they ever get hospitalized he can go there and still be their dr. Some aren't like that so you get whoever is there.
Cyndi L. replied:
I Kids Care!!!!!
Jessica S. replied:
We have used Cookeville pediatrics since Lillian was born. Dr. Neil Treece is her dr and now Jaclyn uses him for Millie. Plus we have seen different ones in that same office and never had a bad experience! Billing is done the right way the first time! Lol
Cookeville people, we are in need of recommendations for a family doctor, pediatrician who lets us do our own thing regarding vaccinations, dentist, ped dentist who will...
Kayla L. replied:
Dr. Andy Thompson is not a ped dentist, but he sees kids from age 3, maybe younger, and they are very family friendly. My mother-in-law works there and Dallas goes in and sits on my lap for all my cleanings. I can't imagine them not letting a parent go back with their child.
Tracy P. replied:
He could probably overcome it if Dr Thompson is very friendly. Previously it seems like the hygenists spend more time with him than the actual dentist any way.
