Jo at Gold Coast Pet Butler. We had a rescue foster dog who had fear based aggression around other dogs after being made to have puppies after puppies. Got to the point after some training techniques where she could walk around our complex with other dogs barking in the doorways and she would ignore them and pull past to get away from the situation rather than firing up. I could walk her near the broadwater and with more coaching we most of the time could calmly walk with other dogs in the distance. We now have another dog similar in our care but nowhere near as bad. She can sit on the picnic blanket by the water and dogs will run up to her while she remains sitting and will tolerate a sniff only, but she gets rewarded and praised for calm behaviour and not reacting. I've used the techniques given for our first problem fur child. My dog is harnessed with a printed " NO DOGS " orange warning harness. Dickheads walk their dogs off leash there all the time even though there's like 20 signs saying must be on leash. I know my dog isn't in the wrong if another dog runs up to her, and being 23kgs after a sniff I will scoop her up as a precaution. We are slowing working on desensitisation and she's come a tremendous way:-)

Jo at Gold Coast Pet Butler. We had a long term foster dog who just couldn't even stand being in sight of other dogs without going nuts and after one visit and some home work it drastically changed. Ended up I could walk her by the broadwater with a few metres berth of other dogs and she would ignore them . She also trains agility and working dogs so she has the skills
