I work for Essilor (largest manufacturer and distributor of lenses). I have excellent recommendations for you. Dr. Conrad Bryan has an office in our building in Farmers Branch - 469-585-1669. Also, would highly recommend Dr. Anne Peck in Carrollton - 972-307-5000. Both are relatively close to Coppell and very qualified.
Lynn S. replied:
Dr. Pells Coppell Vision Center. I left Dr. Elliot when he insisted my new prescription and glasses were fine but I couldn't see out of them. I went to another dr and first thing he said was the prescription was off. This was a long time ago but I remember I was do upset because I had been going to him for several years and then had this problem with the new glasses.
Dale G. replied:
Stephanie Wilken at Wilken Family Eye Care. Located next to a Black Walnut Cafe on Denton Tap. The best I've ever been to.
Greg C. replied:
Second for Sandra Elston at Coppell Vision Center, right off Sandy Lake. Very thorough, and seems to keep up to date on her field.
Eye doctor recommendations for a 16 year old (near adult) - needs to be full test not just eye chart! TIA
Cheryl B. replied:
We go to Dr Laura Pels. She's very good! Office on Sandy Lake.

We see George Beauchamp in Grapevine. He is under our medical insurance, not our vision.
Alycia F. replied:
Mary K Emadi-Moayed you have been misinformed about the education and quality of care you will receive from an optometrist. Optometrist is a primary eye care doctor that requires a 4 year degree plus an additional 4 year doctorate degree and some have additional one year of speciality residency training. We (yes I am a Therapeutic Glaucoma Specialist Optometrist who graduated with Dr. Elliott and a year before Dr. Elston). We are trained and certified to care for vision concerns as well as medical diagnosis and treatment of MANY eye diseases. Yes, Ophthalmologists are MD trained, however they are specialized in surgery. If you see an Ophthalmologist for glasses testing then an "on the job trained" uncertified technician will likely perform the vision portion as MDs do not spend adequate time learning that portion. If you need surgery for any reason, your primary care physician will refer you to the appropriate surgeon for your needs. This is exactly how eye care works too!
Olga S. replied:
Or entire family uses dr. Mark Babin@9722455099. 10 min drive to George Bush & old Denton. Actually costs lead than anyone in Coppell by $35-75 (I called them all). Very thorough in all eye exams. Noted issues that or oldest daughter has and gave referral. We don't have vision but I have a dental/vision discount plan through Carington, which provided a discount for the visit and glasses/lenses.
Lorey A. replied:
Elliott Eye associates, my kids and I have been going there since he opened many years ago.
Kathie T. replied:
We use Sandra Elston at Coppell Vision on Sandy Lake. She is awesome!!!
Sharon D. replied:
Love Sandra Elston!
Tina C. replied:
Dr Pels. She's been in Coppell at least 20 years I bet. Full and thorough services provided. Very nice disposition.
Mary E. replied:
I didn't have a good experience with dr Pels. I think she is fine if you just need vision check, but for more complicated issues (like my high positive astigmatism) she wasn't the best. If you need a full eval, I suggest an ophthalmologist (md) rather than an optometrist (which is what most eye Dr are). I have had a good experience with Dr Taub in Plano.
Anyone here ever have to have cataract surgery? Who was your ophthalmologist? Need some recommendations please.
Kathy T. replied:
Dr. Monniger in Farmer's Branch did my husband's. Very happy
Elizabeth S. replied:
I have. Dr. Ku. 972-436-5040.He has an office in lewisville. 1850 lakepoint. Hospital he uses is behind his bldg Great Dr.
Nicholas O. replied:
I have had eye surgery (not cataract) with Dr. Stephen Ku at North Dallas Eye Associates (on Lakepoint Drive in Lewisville). I would definitely recommend him.
Vicki M. replied:
Yes, both eyes. Dr Haq at Key Whitman. I really like Dr Haq. He is in the Plano office.
Rebecca V. replied:
I had it with Dr Whitman, who did my LASIK years ago. If you have had previous vision correction, it is very important to have your history from before the surgery. Also, cataract surgery is a one time thing - once you pick a lens, that is it. There is no picking a different one and upgrading later. Make sure you do your research and pick what is right for you! Good luck!
Chuck K. replied:
Dr. Wally Ryne in Southlake is the one to call, if you're into quality, not quantity. There's a reason Clearview is the top eye care business in Southlake.
Lynette F. replied:
