I had tendonitis in my wrist. Went to orthopedist that specialized in hands at Cleveland Clinic at West Palm. The cortisone shot hurt very much for 24-36 hrs but when that pain was gone, the tendonitis pain was greatly relieved. Then I wore a splint for 2 weeks and did nothing because it was my right wrist.
