FYI. There's Help for Low Income Households: Not everybody knows about the following 2 programs even being available.. re HEAT: Incidentally, families with single income, kids and who can not pay for their oil to be warm this winter, can possibly qualify for help from the government's Emergency Fund. it sounds they can do this for you once, IF you qualify. To apply go to Pitt Street, not sure of the nurmber, it's in the same building the police station is in (corner Pitt and 3rd). Go up to 3rd floor. They will tell you waht you need to bring and make an appointment for you to see if and what they can do for you. re ELECTRICITY: Ontario Electricity Support Program. (the following are pictures of a brochure that came from Service Ontario, across from metro).
Where do I go to get and file a maintenance form against my landlord? We found out in October when we had our gas connected that were also heating another tenants unit...
