Can anybody tell me if Dr Sephora Pierre is still in town? (the female ob/gyn) And could anybody possibly help with contact information? please and thank you in advance...

Dr Pierre is awesome she delivered my last baby and I loved her! She has a great personality which helps when their face is a foot away from you lol I would recommend highly and I've been to all the obgyn's at one time or another.

I was told to come to the hospital for an induction (second baby after a traumatic stillbirth) after my doctor suddenly left town. Dr Ywakim was on call and refused to do it because he was "sick of doing other people's shit) .. the nurses/floor manager felt so bad for me they made arrangements for a doctor not on call to come in and do it
Paulette J. replied:
Yes she is at 705 Cotton Mill Road and her phone number is 613-932-9494

If your willing to drive to winchester, Dr. Rivington was amazing. I had ywakim the first time and it wasn't a good experience. She made my experience a good one to remember.
Fiona P. replied:
Dr Dehinbo is still in town & hes really nice & an excellent OB/GYNE
Matthew H. replied:
Dr. Pierre is really nice. My wife was very happy with her during her pregnancy. The truth is that when your baby comes you'll have it delivered by the OB that's on call and not necessarily your doctor. We had a few visits to the hospital and the opportunity to meet all of the local OBs. They are all professional and we were very satisfied with them. Dr. Ywakim delivered our daughter this morning. He did a great job and I was impressed with how he handled everything. Do yourself a favour and grab an OB that you'll feel comfortable following you throughout the process, but be prepared to receive help from the rest of the health team as you need it. Good luck.

A friend of mine has Dr Pierre as a ob right now and says she's not very informative and rushes through appointments but one of my other friends had her and said she loved her. So I guess it all depends on preference.

Whichever route you go, ask for a referral to Dr. Pierre in town or Dr. St Cyr in Winchester. Both are fantastic!

Pam there are also Nurse Practioners now, because we do not have enough new Drs yet or ever will be in Cornwall. We have a lot of patients now that have NP. Almost every walk in has one and they take on new patients. I believe I heard there is a new female at the walk in across from Dairy Queen. Last resort call the Health Unit or go to Pitt St walk in the have one day a week they cater to female patients, when you go in you will see it advertised sort of to the right side of the office. In that case the girls will see a woman doctor and get a referral..good luck <3

Pam B. replied:
Yes Alexis Wells there is a medical reason I would like them to go ...just not an emergency at this point, but definitely something that needs a Dr in that field
Carol L. replied:
If you can try to get in with Dr Pierre. My daughter has her, she’s really good
Would like some suggestions for obgyn's in Cornwall.
Has to be in Cornwall, I do not drive. And the midwives are booked up.
Experiences at the office and delivery...

Dr Pierre! I haven't had her but my cousin did at the er when she found out she was having a tubal pregnancy and she was amazing! Bed side manner was amazing as well she even drew a diagram to show us what was going on and what had to happen. I am delivering my forth up in winchester with Dr. Rivington who I've had for my 3 children. I had a run in with uwakim I think it's how you spell his name and he seemed more concerned on services he can provide to me like getting my tubes tied and why I decided to go to winchester and the doctor I chose other then helping me as I was at the er with a horrible cold and my bronchitis was acting up and as routine practice after 20 weeks your sent up to the maternity ward. He didn't offer me help with my cold/bronchitis and then sent me back down to the e.r. I wouldn't recommend him at all. He also automatically assumed that I was on welfare and not working due to the amount of children I have and being pregnant for my 4th.... my opinion of him isn't the greatest.
