Thank you so much everyone! I can't thank you enough for your responses. Dr. McNaughton was wonderful. My poor Gus got into some flowers and ended up sick and dehydrated. Lots of IV fluid and nausea medicine for my lil guy until he starts recovering!
Lou B. replied:
Lancaster? Do you have the nrs? http://lvccvs.com/
Janet M. replied:
I am so glad your pup got help and my advice follows the majority, Dr McNaughton is amazing and so understanding. Good man, bless him! He gave us 2 1/2 extra years with our beloved Kyanna, then he laid her to rest when her cancer came back.
Does anyone know if there are any veterinarians that can do a bunny check up?
Lisa R. replied:
Dr. Janet Lalonde at the Alexandria Veterinary Clinic was amazing when we had a Rabbit with health issues. When no one else would treat our Rabbit, she gave him the best health care possible. I would recommend her for sure.
Mel D. replied:
Dr. Sandra Barnett. She use to be at both the Morrisburg Animal Hospital and Dundas Veterinary Services in Winchester
Louise T. replied:
Dr Ian in Martintown took care of my rabbit but it was a few years ago
Shelley B. replied:
dundas vetrinary service in winchester specializes in rabbits and chinchilla's, they are super great people. http://www.dundasvet.ca
April A. replied:
Yes Dr. Barnett, she works at Dundas Veterinary Services in Winchester and Morrisburg animal Hospital in Morrisburg
Hi,
I found out my dog has ataxia and tremors after our car accident and I need certain vet tests done to confirm diagnosis. Trying to find a vet in town that does CT...
Fiona R. replied:
Alta Vista in Ottawa is very good, they have specialists there for all kinds of conditions. its not cheap to have those tests tho:(
Shari J. replied:
No one in Cornwall offers these tests. Call Alta Vista.
Louise T. replied:
Alta Vista or DMV in Lachine..DMV does everything
Shannon H. replied:
I'm not sure if they do it, but you can always try Maxville too. 613-527-1444
Nicole D. replied:
The only hospital that offers MRIs and CTs in the area is Alta Vista Animal hospital. I would suggest getting something from your vet for sedation for the drive up. If coming from Cornwall it's about a hour drive to the clinic, I should know, I work there:)
Suggestions for a veterinarian that’s great and decent price in cornwall ?
Fiona P. replied:
Everyone will tell you that Martintown is great and cheaper than in town, and thats true. Ian McNaughton is a great vet too. If you want in town, I love Dr ElKorchie and all the vets at St Lawrence Valley. If its for a cat, the same vets run the Cat Clinic.
John L. replied:
I find Williamstown Vet is awesome with care, and slightly less than any of the Cornwall vets. They are actually just north of Lancaster, right on hwy 34. Worth the drive.
Trisha C. replied:
Cornwall veterinary services at Pitt and tollgate is pretty good. He's from the Lancaster veterinary clinic but works out of Cornwall 3 days a week (the other days being in Lancaster.) I've been bringing my 2 dogs to him for the last couple years. No complaints.
Linda D. replied:
Java,s in Massena is so much cheaper 315 764 8387 a little further but saves on the pocket book.
Delete if not allow, i am new owner of dog and i want to get him Vet but problem is that dog do not have paper work and dog old owner couldnt find paperwork and didnt...
Angele A. replied:
Yes they will. I highly recommend Williamstown Dr.Simpson is amazing and she doesn't do any test that are not necessary
Williamstown Vet. Information on getting a female Cat spayed. Phone, website, cost. Please and thank you.
Victoria J. replied:
Hey Pauline. Can't tell you about costs for a cat. But I take my dog there. Best care ever. They are easy to talk to. Great with the animals. Answer all questions. Very clean. And always follow up. They were a little cheaper then Cornwall vets for my dog
I would try this place. Its in ottawa but a good pocket pet vet, we used them when I worked at Petsmart for our small pets if they needed any medical attention. http://lynwoodanimalhospital.ca/veterinary-services/
I do home infusions pretty regularly and hate always throwing these out (and their caps). They are just empty syringes, normal saline and heparin, no needles, nothing...
Harry H. replied:
http://www.medidrop.ca/locations_e.php They should be dropped off in the boxes near the Medi Drop locations. Anyone accepting these to reuse them would have no idea what was in them before. Therefore not a good idea to reuse them, even if they were just used for saline and heparin.
Does anyone know if any vet or place will spay a female cat without her vaccinations? apparently Ospca thinks there might be l?!
Linda H. replied:
Best friends spay and neuter clinic Kirkland, Que. 125 no shots for female, male is cheaper, phone is 450-458-0333 It runs out of the Timberlea Vet Clinic
Looking for good, cheap veterinarians in and around the Cornwall area. And possibly someone who will see my cat on a weekend?
Cassandra G. replied:
Martintown Vet
Nickole D. replied:
There's a cat clinic. Dr. Tomlinson is a great vet
Fiona P. replied:
I love Dr ElKorchi at the cat clinic. he works at st lawrence valley too. What i like about him is he is especially fond of cats. The other vets are very good, but he is SO good with my cat, I wouldnt go to anyone else.
Cassandra G. replied:
I used to go to the Glengarry Animal Hospital until recently, terrible service!!
Kathy G. replied:
I have always gone to Glengarry Animal Hospital... for both my dogs and cats... and they have been awesome, both with service and Vet care.
