The Police Department posted this on their Facebook page: The Corona Police Department and the Corona Animal Enforcement Services and Shelter would like to thank the community for their overwhelming support of the Corona Shelter. Many times, we get asked by community members on what they can personally do to support our shelter. As such, we have established a “wish” list on our website located at: http://www.discovercorona.com/…/Anima…/How-Can-You-Help.aspx On this list, we provide items that we constantly run through that ultimately enhance our ability in caring for the animals. Although we do have a budget to purchase these items, this list was established for those who want to support and help in their own personal way. Recently, we became aware of an independent blanket and towel drive for our shelter that is running from November 1 through the 30th. The generosity of the public has already been successful as we have received a large quantity of blankets and towels to the point we now need to create more space in our storage area for them. We are in gratitude for the public’s generosity and please continue supporting our Shelter by checking out our “wish” list mentioned above for other items that would also support our mission to provide a great environment for the pets before they go to their loving home!! https://www.facebook.com/CoronaPD/posts/842859022501349
