Susie T. replied:
I also want to add I've tried many daycares and have been highly dissatisfied and researched many as well... only a few compared to St Bartholomew's (First Christian, Odyssey, and Del Mar Center for Early Learning) Del Mar and St Bartholomew's were the only one's I listed above that I actually took my kids to and I loved both.
Does anyone know of a good decent daycare around the area?
Judy P. replied:
Manna is good and so is Coastal Bend Child Care. Both are off Holly Rd.
Leslie F. replied:
St. Bartholomew's on airline and Storybooks on Yorktown. When he turns 3, The Academy of Living Literacy on Yorktown is AMAZING!!!!
Annette L. replied:
check out the state website. you can find out the inspection info on there and if they have violations that way you can compare the ones you are thinking about. they also have listed family homes of people who do daycare out of their house. its worth l ooking at. And also www.familywatchdog.us it shows sex offenders in the area that way you make sure the daycare/home is in a safe neighborhood too. http://www.dfps.state.tx.us/.../ppSearchTXChildCare2.aspx
Judy P. replied:
I have a listing of all of them on http://www.coastalbendmoms.com/ChildCare.html
