Darlingtonia State Natural Site is a short walk through a sea of pitcher plants, located just north of Florence. There's also Sutton Campground on the west side of 101, also just north. From the campground, the Holmen Vista Trail is a nice easy walk out to the ocean with some good views of Sutton Creek and sand dunes.
