Can anyone recommend a good doctors surgery in the area?
Deb B. replied:
I highly recommend Dr Butler.
Yvonne R. replied:
I agree with Deb Briggs Dr Butler is the best doctor there. Problem is getting an appointment with him as everyone wants to see him! I personally find it a nightmare trying to get an appointment but if it is urgent, tell them and they should fit you in. Plus the nurses are brilliant. I choose to see the nurse Jackie over most of the gp's. Dr Jones is good too.
Deb B. replied:
Nurse Jackie Wilson is the best for injections etc. Nurse practitioners Jackie Carlson and Diane Whelan are both lovely and yes dr Jones is good but he sent me for an x ray on my sinuses once and there's no such thing which I didn't know till I got to the hospital lol. Dr Butler knows about everything. I had a very rare rash once that was caused by sticky blood cells, everyone else gave me hydrocortisone. Dr Butler instantly knew what it was an done a blood test and gave me steroids. That went on for around 6 weeks until I seen him. Lol
Yvonne R. replied:
Dr Butler needs to start a fan club. Everyone I know who goes there loves him! My 7 year old son whinges if he has to see anyone else. They need to clone him:-)
Tracy H. replied:
Broomfield Medical Centre is fab, never had a bad experience there and can always get to see someone same day, if not Dr then the Nurse Practitioner. Cant fault them

I phoned Allesley Surgery at 8:15...No chance today. . Could you let Dr ******** know. Yes but it could take 2 days for him to read my email request. Two days. The fkn building is size of my house. Go and ask??? Nope. Ring back at eight in morning. Only just joined this practice and you get brick walled every time. Steer clear.

Dr McAlpines wife the receptionist is lovely, though when she 1 st started she was firm but polite and professional. The new ones now are just plain rude and ignorant. They wouldn't handle a normal reception job or the company would go out of business!!

ROCK SALT POISONING IN PETS Rock salt is a mixture of salt (sodium chloride) and grit, and is used to help de-ice roads in winter. Rock salt can be a danger to pets such as dogs and cats, if they lick it from their paws or fur.
