Cowbridge and western vale practise, have other practices in st athan and Llantwit Major so will always get you a doctor or nurses appointment elsewhere if necessary. Calgary dentist in Llantwit Major. St Fagans welsh museum isn’t far away and is brilliant! Has a small farm as part of the museum. Techniquest in Cardiff Bay is brilliant, a hands on science exhibit.

Fich and Ramous for hairdressers! We no longer live in Cowbridge (Llanblethian) but would still highly recommend this salon! Fruit and veg from Strawberry Fields (I think this is correct name of the shop!) and Bijou for soft play if you have young children. Hendrowennol is only down the road on A48 which is brilliant for children:) Good luck with your relocation!

For animal-mad children, there's Warren Mill Farm Park and the Amelia Trust Farm ( which is free/donation) and has some nice wooded trails, a bird hide, play area and cafe, as well as various animals.
