Welcome to home ownership! I've been trying to get all of my downlights working at the one time for five years. 3 different electricians that didn't come back to finish the jobs. It's a feckin nightmare. Use http://www.serviceseeking.com.au/ if you don't find anybody, it's worth a look for quotes and you know the people will actually call you back etc.
