I'm looking for recommendations for an excellent migraine/headache doctor. Anyone?
Steve N. replied:
Dr. John Kelly of Neuroscience Associates. He's perfect; his profession centers around someone who experiences migraines himself, and he's a neurosurgeon.

My husband has tried just about everything and nothing has worked! He took topamax and it caused him kidney stones, he had Botox and that didn't help, he had went to Dr. Web and also Dr Kelly (which you have to wait 45+mins every time you go!!!) and he pretty much said my husband has to get cortisone shots in his nerve on the head every 4 months and that doesn't help always either. After we expressed that he said there is nothing else he can do for him. Just the shots. I found a doc in Cincy, Dr Kissela and we are gonna see what he recommends.

I second Dr. Kelly. Worked to find the right migraine medicine for me.

Gina Moore, after years & years of trying medications/acupuncture/& injections, I FINALLY found a preventive medication that works for me! & it's only $4, I take it 2 x daily every single day wo fail w/literally zero side effects. It's technically a blood pressure medication but RX'd for migraine prevention kijr Topamax it's called Propranolol. It's worth a try & my family MD prescribes it:) Good luck! I know it's just awful having chronic migraines. Prayers for some sort of relief ❤❤

Dr. Miller goes to Adams county Regional Medical Center. He directed us to Dr Ghany for Ron's arm, wrist and hand and it has changed his life! Try that if you want to Jeff. I'll be praying for you, my Friend.
