Hi Annie Norris, Crowthorne Girl Guiding is one of the biggest Volunteer Youth organisations in the area, and we are always growing. We currently are struggling to find suitable meeting places, for all our units, as we lost our HQ as a result of the Broadmoor development. We are desperately trying to raise money to enable us to secure some land and then a building. We have a very dedicated team of leaders, but most of us work and have children so finding extra time to dedicate to fundraising is hard. We are very grateful for any assistance we can receive. Many Thanks xx

Hi I am a Nurse for Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service. We look after children and young people with life limiting illness in their own homes across Berkshire and its borders. We offer respite, support and end of life care. Currently we offer care in the community (children's own homes most often) but we will be opening the doors to our new purpose built Hospice in Maidenhead in 2017 and need all the publicity and fundraising we can get

Vicki Painter Alison Stratford at safe are always looking for financial help. They do amazing work with the horses and cant do it without the support of followers, volunteers and financial contributors. www.safe-horses.co.uk

This is a national charity but for a rare/orphan condition that my son has. Www.pwsa.org.uk. The charity provides support to families with the condition. As it is a rare condition it is hard to set up local groups for the condition as there are not many in the same area. Add to it the diverse nature of the syndrome the charity has its work cut out.

The sanctuary barn in Binfield up by the Nike centre is a great little treasure of a place. Fruit veg fresh eggs honey pet food sweeties and lots of little stalls selling lots of gift ideas. There's also Helen the hairdresser. Lackey who does eye brows nails and tanning. Sarah who does dog grooming. Home made cards. Baby items and a wool barn. Lots to see and do. The ladies will even make a cuppa tea with some cake while you browse.

I can't tell you how much I wish that more people did this, the High Street might be a very different place if they did. Dopsons butchers for fabulous fresh produce and great offers. Newmans shoes, an absolute gem and part of Crowthorne history. Villa Roma for divine, freshly cooked food from breakfast to dinner. The Handy DIY store for everything you never knew you actually needed. That's Nice for quirky gifts and a great selection of health and well-being products.
