Reality Bikes in Cumming is the best! Go talk to Todd there--he is very knowledgeable. When I shop there, he has always taken the time to be sure Im getting exactly what I need/want! Great shop service, too. Pretty sure they are running some good sales this saturday for 'Small Business Saturday', too!

My 7 yo son is interested in BMX riding/racing. We have zero experience and equipment. (Aside from a Walmart grade bike and all sports helmet) Does anyone have a child...

Where is the best place to donate kids' bikes? I usually take to SAFFT but there's a sign up saying they're not taking donations right now. Thanks!
Marie V. replied:
I donate a lot of kids clothes and toys to The Place by exit 16. I know they take in bikes as well.

Anyone know of a place nearby where you can bring your dirt bikes and ride?
Scott T. replied:
There is Whisenhunt ORV in Dahlonega but it’s two way trails and it closes Jan 2 for a few weeks. There is several places that are 2-3 hours away. Durhamtown and Highland Park that offer all you want and more. Also Talking Rock Arena in Jasper and Moto Mountain that is a little closer.
Is there a local charity (or person) that fixes used bikes for kids? We have a bike that just needs the chain fixed that we would like to donate. Thanks!
Amanda W. replied:
Johns Creek Baptist Church has a bike collection once a year. It was last weekend. But if you call them, I bet they could steer you in the right direction and help.
