If you want something different, try Sweet Acre Farms Winery in Alto, GA. Not traditional wine but very very good. The couple who own it are super sweet too.

We love The Cottage in Cleveland. Best wines, friendly folks, great view, live music. Perfect casual ambiance to enjoy wine and life. Check ‘em out. www.cottagevineyardwinery.com

You don’t have to choose! Visit them all in March as a participant in the Georgia Wine Highway. This year it starts on Friday March 16 at noon and lasts until Sunday March 25 at 5:00pm. This event offers its participants the chance to visit over 20 North Georgia vineyards to see and experience the views and wonderful wines of North Georgia. These wineries offer great wines that are grown and produced here in Georgia, many of which have won local, regional, national and international awards. There will be a $50.00 fee for each participant which will be collected at the first winery visited. Travelers will receive a “Wine Highway Week” collectors’ glass and Passport which will give them admission to ALL participating wineries at no additional charge. Be sure to keep you Passport and Collectors glass with you at all wineries visited! Participating wineries provide their own unique open-house format, with many offering food and wine pairings, music, barrel and library wine tastings and more! If you've ever wanted to do a wine tasting, this event is a great way to sample the wine at nearly 2 dozen vineyards for only $50. To really do this right reserve a stay in Dahlonega and branch out from there. Read more at http://www.georgiawine.com/events/2018-wine-highway-weekend

Wolf Mountain has the prettiest view and good wines and Frogtown the best wine and good views. Either is great to wind down from your day.
