I think it's something that starts with a K.... I can't remember. Facing the gate it's on the left side. It's on a corner and I think it's across from a realtor (maybe Kool). Sorry that's not so helpful! Her numbers are: 017-817-0945 and 010-4817-0945 (the first might be old, not sure).

Her name is Jinae (sp?) . Hair shop number is 053-472-6114. She is excellent even with children. M-F are walk ins. Saturday's are by appt only. She opens at 11 and I think she closes at 7 or 8 pm.
Question more for the ladies, but any help would be good. I have been here in Daegu for a couple of months now... and I am going to need a hairstylist soon. Does anyone...

Hey Lauren, I'm pretty sure every blonde in Daegu goes to the same lady near Camp Walker. Her name is Jin-Ae and her shop is called Kukje Hair Shop.. It's on the same road as magic nails and Hami mamis leading towards the gate at camp walker. She can tackle any foreign hair! Her number is 01048170945! Good luck!

Anyone know of a good place for a haircut downtown? I have directions written in Korean and only want a trim, so I dont think the trek to base would be worth it.
Angela R. replied:
Mari, I gave up on doing blonde highlights in korea. Last place turned my hair yellow. I've been ordering my stuff online. I'm pretty happy with it. I went to: http://www.dellariccahaircolor.com/ and we did a skype call. She was able to see what my hair condition was like and what i was trying to go with. She can ship to korea.
Rae D. replied:
o, but Mari Coetsee, when you go, they aren't idiots, but please remember they dye KOREAN hair all day, which is by nature, thicker than most of our hair. so it would be wise to remind them that your hair will pull color more quickly...they aren't by any means fluent in english, but just make them keep checking the color. also ask to see color swatches first, and bring a picture. harim cut and colored my hair -- a corrective color operation that could have ended TERRIBLY -- but he made it EXACTLY the way i wanted. i brought in a picture...they REALLY take their time at aqua, but they will give you exactly what you want, and they won't stop until you get that. also, ask for a coupon.
hi!, please it will be great if you can answer this question, Do you know where I can find a good hair salon capable to do highlights? thanx!!

Homeplus at Yongsan Station has an Lee Chul salon. There is a guy in there that speaks some English, more than enough for cutting hair, and he does a really good job of knowing foreign styles. 10,000 won.
