We go to Cobb pediatrics. It's across from Publix on Dallas hwy. love them!
Carmen P. replied:
Look up the Dr. Sears selective vaccine schedule. He only suggests doing ones like Hep. A and B if you are traveling. I am following the selective vaccine scheduled and omitting all live vaccines until age 5. Amelia's ped. Has been very supportive of this decision but he is in Marietta.
Kristin T. replied:
No Dr. Young at Cartersville Pediatrics. They are in the office complex on 41.
Domenic R. replied:
Dr. Young at W.Pediatrics can be a butt sometimes. We switched b/c of him, but ended up going back and try not to see him.
Dawn P. replied:
Call and ask at Pinnacle Pediatrics in Hiram. Its been years since I had the kids there, but they Dr. Brown seemed to be really into more natural things, so they may not make you get them. Not sure.
Does anyone love their pediatrician in the Dallas/Hiram area?
Jana B. replied:
West Atlanta pediatrics across from stars and strikes. 7705053162Dr Carter been there since birth and he's 17.

Definitely West Atlanta Pediatrics. Dr Carter lacks personality but is a good doctor, and Dr. Young is good, too.
Michael L. replied:
Sounds like west Atlanta Pediatrics is the clear winner
Christie S. replied:
Myself, I use East Paulding Pediatrics, but it is not exciting or impressive at all. I just use them because they are close, and I have other doctors for other things. East Paulding is OK, but they are a little frustrating with unnecessary follow ups.

I don't know if Dr Dyess is still in practice or not. She was my pediatrician. She's wonderful.
Brittney C. replied:
Just curious, why didn't you like Yusuf or Ricks? We've only been to her once since Dr. Khanfar left and she took over his patients. I've heard good things about Dr. Ricks, who we thought about switching to.
Ashley G. replied:
Ashley Chandler She is in with Dr. Yusuf. They won't let u switch within the practice either.

Hey my dearest friend is a PNP in west Monroe. She's with Dr Sanson. She runs the pediatric clinic. Her name is Jennifer Calhoun. Let me know if you call them and I'll call her so she can expect u. I have her on speed dial.
Ashley G. replied:
Brittney Cunningham. Dr. Yusuf told me I was starving my baby and was just very rude! Dr. Ricks was better, but was just in and out in less than 5 mins. He didnt show any interest in Presley. He acted like he didnt even like kids.

Alyssa Walker Dr Dyess is still in business but not accepting new pts either

Wow, that's just crazy! We loved our pediatrician in Dallas and was very happy with Dr. Khanfar when we moved home but then he took a leave of absence so I know it's hard to find a great doctor when you are used to getting awesome treatment. Hope you find one soon!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Dr. Stanley!!! Maybe you can try the male/female thing to twitch to Bivens and just go when Bivens and Stanley are there??
Ashley C. replied:
We love Dr. Grino!!! I went through several pediatricians when Graydon was young because of him being sick alot.
Looking for a good pediatrician in the Dallas/Hiram/Powder Springs area. Thoughts?
Laura H. replied:
Stephen Carter at West Atlanta Pediatrics is really great, too. I moved to Cherokee County 7 years ago and still drive to Dallas, just so I don't have to change pediatricians:o)
Shala H. replied:
Thanks! Toni Whitfield Evans, his current pediatrician is Creekside in Douglasville, but I just didn't want to drive that far anymore. Dr. Dauphin has always been awesome! Laura Henkelman, I'll check them out!

Sean S. replied:
Best one my girls have ever gone to, Dr. Melamed - Kids Start Pediatirics, behind Wendy's on Thornton Rd. I think it is considered Lithia Springs. He is fantastic at diagnosis.
Anyone have any recommendations for a pediatrician? One that takes WellCare though?
Kristin T. replied:
Yes, Cartersville pediatrics. They are on the corner of 41 and 92. Dr. Young is AMAZING with the kids, best doctor I have met around here when it comes to my kids and it was his partner that found Braydens heart condition that AMAZED the cardiologist.....they seriously care about the kids they take care of!!!

Does anyone know a good pediatrician in the paulding/ Dallas area?
Lauren B. replied:
Take them to Dr. Yamin in.Douglasville. LOVE him. He has amazing beside manner. Always listens to your concerns. You tend to wait for a little longer like to.get back in the room and to be seen
Paulette E. replied:
Moonie, Doc Yamin is not far from you and would benefit you better than any other pediatrician because he has family history of all your side. If he's taking new patients then thats who I would definitely go with, not to mention you may get the entertaining pleasure of seeing you sister Jessica Echols and the doc go round and round a time or two!! Lol... they have a love hate relationship (depends on Jessicas mood) just ask Lauren Bell.
JonJon got to meet his new pediatrician today! Dr. Young, who gives high fives and tokens to a toy machine. He has croup, but blessed no breathing treatments needed.
