My sister is on a business trip in Ft. Lauderdale today from Arkansas. Has anyone eaten at a good restaurant on the beach there, that you would recommend? I haven't...

Or Bahia Cabana on the south end. It's not facing the beach but a nice view of the marina and million dollar yachts. It's most popular as a bar but has great sandwiches. Beach Place has several places including Lulu's Bait Shack.

There is a great restaurant with great ocean views called Sea Watch, it is a little pricey but great food. For fun casual beach food try Aruba cafe.. Great casual inexpensive food.
Can someone recommend a restaurant in the old city for a bar mitzvah lunch.

The David Citadel hotel does bar mitzvah lunches( they serve your guests a small breakfast of juice, you go to the kotel and then back to the hotel for lunch). If not...there is a restaurant at the kotel that is specifically for bar and bat mitzvahs. I forget the name, but I will look it up and edit my post. Our family friends had their daughter's bat mitzvah lunch at: http://www.thegates.co.il There is also: http://quarter-cafe.co.il/photos.php You can also go to the Mamilla rooftop at the Mamilla hotel or Luciana at the Mamilla mall or Kedma or Spahgettis at the Mamilla mall. There are a whole lot of restaurants to choose from at the Mamilla mall. It's only a few minutes walk from the kotel.
