Try contacting Paxton Veterinarian or Diamond Vet Clinic in Covington. I am told that they may help with payments. An untreated hematoma can cause infection, fever and can burst.:(

I had Wronke and Hillcrest/Stateline. I left and went to. Dr Frailey in Chrismas. Much happier and less cost on me.

I have found in cases like this ofen Fairchild Animal Hospital will see the pet the same day. When I picked up our new puppy from a rescue group I was afraid she had ringworm so called them and they said to just bring her in ......

Before I even got out the day I wanted them to check, she said, "I have a 2:00 today"....I think it's awesome whenever any vet can get you in same day. I'm more of a drop-off kind of woman, but a vet that will work with you is worth it's weight in gold.

Doc Ronky out on 136 if he is still alive, he cares more about the animals than the money. He saved 2 of my Puppies who had parvo and only charged me 35.00 each for 7 shots each, he had to give them a second round of shots and charged me another 35.00 but there was NO $$$$ Office charge or any of that crap

You must act fast, parvo is a miserable death but if you catch it in time, prognosis is good. I nursed 1 thru it. Dr.Wronke saved mine for $35 but he's gone, sure do miss him.

We take our two to Diamond H outside Covington. Not the cheapest, but thorough and caring. Dr. Hix also accepts Care Credit (a form of medical financing) that some others do not! Greenwood, on IN 28 in West Lebanon, does not! Ask about that before you go anywhere.

I have used Dr Greenwood for years! He has 3 or 4 vets who intern there and they all are great.

I have used Vermilion Hillcrest for many years. My dogs are comfortable and are treated with care.

Dr. Witherspoon at Fairchild Animal Hospital, is awesome. He has taken great care of a multitude of my brood. Including, finding a very wierd disease my dog had and treating it berore he died.

If you have cats, I suggest Dr Bradley from Fairchild. She is very gentle, very caring, very knowledgeable. I have heard people call her the Cat Whisperer.

We absolutely love Dr. Girourd at Stateline. We have been going there for quite a few years and he is very knowledgable & compassionate. He even made a house call to pick up our little Honey who was bleeding after a surgery and took her back to the hospital and stayed with her. We just think he is wonderful!

I highly recommend Dr. Randee Ardisana at Stateline Hillcrest. She even drove over from Champaign on a Sunday afternoon to take care of a very sick feral cat I had caught and she has taken excellent care of my own cat.

East Lake is great. Highly recommend them. Dr. Cooper and Dr. V are great and so is the staff.

I LOVE Dr. Witherspoon! My cat purrs in his arms, my good dogs like him, & MOST important he does not get intimated by my snarling, growling, trying to be scary "angel boy" Nietzsche- and that's after 2 supposed excellent vets refused to see my boy. I have sent others their with similar dog/vet issues and he treats them and us good to them! He's at Fairchild Animal Hospital

After a botched amputation of a deformed front leg on my pup at a Champaign vet (chosen by the rescue which had her, because he did it at a greatly reduced cost ~ see where that gets ya'!), we went through six months of painful issues, infection, draining, and ultimately a second surgery by Dr. Girouard at Stateline Hillcrest. Total success! I've taken my pets there for the last several years, and the experience with our tripawd only cemented that relationship.

I've been going to Fairchild for 4 yrs. Vermilion Hillcrest is my #1 now. They have a paw plan. It's kind of like an insurance payment plan we have for humans. I pay $25 a month per dog. Great rates.
