Melanie H. replied:
I'm in the fence with an opening but I'd love to talk to you. I'm part of a daycare group in the Southside so I could for sure hook you up with some other options if I can't help. And Brooke Wikoff is great!! She may not have any openings right now for babies - but it's worth a call or message!
Does anyone know of any affordable and safe child care for a two year old full time and a 6year old after school? Thank you in advance
Liz D. replied:
Hi! I work with https://www.facebook.com/180061012048451 Skip-a-Long Child Development Services - Rock Island and we may have openings. We are a nonprofit early care and education center and work with IDHS and United Way to help with paying for care for families who qualify. We do full time care and before/after school care. Call Tanisha at (309)788-0426 or take a look at www.skipalong.org it's a really great, high quality center where the kids will be safe and learn a lot! :)
Looking for child care for the kids. Anyone know of any openings? Please let me know!

I recommend looking for a nanny on care.com. That way you don't have to do drop off and the girls get to be home!
Rachael M. replied:
Hey Anne not sure if you want to consider in home but with 3 kids can be more cost effective sometimes. We have gotten nannies on care.com that have worked out great!
Beth B. replied:
St. Ambrose Children's Campus is amazing...but I am sure there is a long waiting list If you get your oldest into the preschool room, you may be able to get your younger kids in.
{Help a mama out!} I am in search of a wonderful in-home daycare near the Roosevelt Des Moines area. Any suggestions?
Becky S. replied:
I was driving down Kingman, maybe near 38 th, and I saw a big sign on someone's door that said they had openings. I couldn't tell you who they are, though. Also check nextdoor.com. There were some people there discussing in-home day cares and nanny shares.
