Does anyone know a dressmaker in Daylesford/Hepburn Springs? Looking to have some clothing altered. Appreciate names being passed on please. Thank in advance..

Good morning grapevine - is there any one local who does clothing alterations/repairs etc?

I can & have my own soft homewares business but I live in Hepburn Springs half time weekly & am not back now until mid Jan. https://facebook.com/hometones for my details :)
I have a lot of woman's clothing and a lot of kids toys. Which is the best op shop to give to. Unless anyone here wants them.

When I am downsizing I usually rotate between each of the three Op Shops. It's fairer this way.

Well it's great that families in need are given things but there's also low income earners who go in and BUY things. If prices have dropped by half then I am even more surprised at the prices. It may be that those prices are just the going rate for most op shops these days. I personally have just found The MS shop and The Community Op Shop to be considerably cheaper and I do not think they have things of a lesser quality. I also support the community Op Shop because we were directly helped by them in our family's hour of need. I'm not really interested in getting in to it. I was merely giving an opinion to a friend's post.

Donation day for Ballarat Pop Up Shop for the Homeless on 2 moro Frid 10-2 at Trades Hall, Camp St. See Pop Up Shop For The Homeless - Ballarat fb page. Not just for homeless, all on low incomes. All free stuff. ... Oops sorry they've enough clothes already. So as many of us w surplus clothing & many families in need of children's clothes, why not get some friends together & start a D/ford Pop Up Shop for Free Clothing for people on lower incomes (Ballarat Pop Up Shop will be a 1 day Sat or Sun event) in Town Hall? They can advise if u Message them.
Looking for somewhere in town that sells cheap storage solutions? Need stuff to maximise clothing storage, like hanging shoe racks or stackable pull out drawers? No car...
