If you don't end up staying in the park, buy your tickets at undercovertourist.com. They offer a discount (although small) AND you can also get a huge discount on a rental car with Alamo - look for the offer right before checking out. Saved us a chunk of money. We stayed outside the park b/c we didn't want to hit the park every day (young children)...so we got a 2 br condo at a local Sheraton resort for the 5 of us for the same price we'd pay staying in the park in one small "moderate" hotel room. (The 2 br suites are very expensive in the park.)

Suzanne MacQueen SoucieBefore we owned a DVC, we went many times. My favorite hotel was Carribean Beach Resort. Why? I don't really know. I liked the location. I like the view from the room- we looked out on a pond or lake. I liked the walk over to the cafeteria; it was a nice walk. I just liked everything about it. I did the meal plan- Deluxe Meal plan- B/L/D plus two snacks and free non-alcoholic drinks. I cannot say I saved money- I did the analysis and we could have if my kids did not put the breaks on sit down breakfast and lunch half way through the vacations. But it was super handy not to pull out the credit card every five minutes. Way more enjoyable. Have fun!!
