I like Preppy Pets. I have a rescue that needs special handling (he's fearful around people, but loves other dogs), and Preppy Pets accommodates him and he's very happy to go there.

For the last 6 years we have been using Party Animals in Orange City. It's not "pretty" or new but they BEST care for your animals. Our lab can't wait to go inside to play. They do boarding and daycare. A really great environment.

I board my dog Chip at Pineridge Pet Hospital in Deltona. They treat him like a rock star and even saved his life with emergency bladder surgery when I was on vacation. Jen, their surgery tech always keeps me updated and even sends me pictures of him when I'm traveling . They also bathe and groom him, so he's fresh and happy when I pick him up! 407-323-9743

I have 2 large dogs that occasionally need 2 x daily walks or an overnight sitting when I go out of town. The app rover has been a life saver on more than one occasion.

Talk to your neighbors or use the app nextdoor. There has to be a kid in your neighborhood. I love my dog sitter but she only services my neighborhood for $10 a day.

I recently used Rover (the website/app) for the first time and found a great dogsitter. I plan to use her any time I leave town again. If you go this route, you can PM me and I can recommend the specific sitter I had that I liked, or they all have reviews so you could find one yourself. (I can’t think of a way to say this that doesn’t make my comment sound like an ad haha)

They offer boarding and day camps where the dogs all play together and there is a bone-shaped pool if your dog likes to swim. The staff are very helpful and friendly and genuinely seem to care about the animals. They also have webcams on their website that you can go and watch the dogs play. They send you emails with pics of the dogs during their stay as well. They are strict with making sure all vaccinations are up to date, and I believe your first day of camp is free because they use it as an opportunity to evaluate each dog's personality to ensure they let them out to play with dogs that are on the same level. Party Animals in Orange City is a great place. All dogs are together, no cages. They have swimming pools and the dogs sleep on couches.

We have used Spring Oaks in the past for our Frenchie and were very pleased with them.
