Just do not understand, Annie Canham. To prepare a tooth for a crown, take impressions etc takes a lot longer than 8 hours. I was in the chair twice 2 days apart for approximately 3 hours in total for just ONE crown!! That was at 911.
Marian P. replied:
I am gobsmacked, Annie Canham. If it only took (according to the OP) a total of 8 hours, I will book the next available plane! My goodness - that's incredible eh!!

I did similar at Dr Sucipto 7 years ago. Had two porcelin veneers a crown all my old amalgam fillings replaced with white, a two week holiday including flights accom and all spending for a quarter of what I would have paid in Australia for just the dental work. Perfect work all still beautiful. Unlike the filling I had in Noosa a year later that broke within six months.

Wheres the best place to get some of my teeth fixed up and is it cheaper than australia?
Richard M. replied:
Doctor Rudi out at Apotik Hijau. He's was Dean of the Balinese Dental school. Better work & better prices than 911. The other place I recommend is BIDC off Teuku Umar.

Check out mysecretfountainofyouth.com. They are located in Penang, Malaysia and work with some of the best dentists in Southeast Asia. If you're from Australia, they offer payment plans to help make the costs even more manageable.

Does anybody know a good & reasonable priced dentist @ Kuta - Canggu area?
For a check-up & cleaning.
Around 400.000 is ok, not 600.000 as @ Galeria

Dr Andhika is good he's in the road tag leads into Denpasar . +62 361 8860808. Generally a check up with a good dentist here is 400 k or more if you have to have X rays . I have been to Andhika for standard stuff but recently much prefer Bimc dental in the Bimc hospital in Nusa Dua . All super clean and super modern top of the line equipment 0361 3000911. You can call them and ask for prices . The female dentist there is the best one . Worth the extra money though it was actually cheaper than Bali 911 and way better service ! Best dentist I've been to in Bali .

In the mean time if it is toothache, to sooth the pain, you have several options to try to settle her pain. 1. She can rinse her mouth, not swallow, dissolved salt in water 2. Rinse mouth, not swallow, a dilution of Betadine and Water 3. Something similar to Aspro Clear in water, and she can rinse and even swallow it as it is a pain killer also Check to see if she has bleeding gums. It could be a gum infection like Gingavitis. I once paid for my local friend to see Dr Adam. He then became the Lead Male Model at the International Fashion Festival several years later
Tom K. replied:
I had extensive work done, and never had a problem also. My orthodontist in Australia can't fault the work Dr Adam did, let alone fault her on her qualifications. I take all my local friends and western friends to her.
