You can rent a bungalow at Sahaja Sawah Resort for that money, it's a bit far away from the tourist areas but really nice area in Tabanan in between small Balinese villages, the people there are super kind but one and half hours away from Seminyak and Kuta

Have had several instances where ripped off by both booking.com and agoda and full hotels. Never fun when one travels the world for work. Now don't use them and just go direct to the hotel.

I do agree with going to the hotel but when you have friends ask a price direct as thinking transfer hotel and I go onto booking.com at the hotel desk and get a better rate and they say through booking.com what do you suggest to this

Just keep in mind if they tell you no room as over booked this is crap as you place your booking with booking.com it instantly confirms your room the this why they take your credit card number but if they continue to state no room no problem you find the same room and standard else were booking.com will cover it it is in there t and c but I do feel sorry for you

Not good what happened as booking.com as normally good. In regards to early check in, you need to book for the day prior as checkout time is 10 am so it is not possible when you have a full house. Enjoy the rest of your stay

Sunnye Hughes, I normally do stay at the pandanaran. Never had a problem there . never had an issue like this before with a room booked through booking.com either. Anyway, coming home to Bali today .....thank god.need a rest.

I've stayed at the Kam Leng Hotel in Little India (www.kamleng.com) - a nice Boutique hotel with reasonable prices. Will stay there again on my next visa-run. Just like with most hotels, it's often cheaper to book via Expedia or other online travel-sites than directly with them.

I normally stay at Santa Grand Bugis. It's around $105 on hotels.com and comes with breakfast. Situated in Bugis it's a 5 minute walk to Bugis MRT and buses also Located right out the front door. TIP don't get a basement room, there are no windows!

Hi Alicia - I recently stayed at Villa Nusa in Lembongan - it sleeps up to 8 people. The price on their website is higher than what you pay - I think for 7 people it works out at around $65 US per person per night and it is amazing - we loved having our own private place with a pool and the staff really looked after us. Check their websites out, these are about 15 mins away by cab from both changi and the cbd. Hope this helps

Had 2 nights at Grand Pacific in Victoria St. Bugis last week $165- per night all inc. lovely hotel but exy, their taxes are a killer.
