I wish this was 5 years ago. My grandfather used to do residential electric work. Unfortunately no one in the family took over the business but he picked up all of his supplies at either Buffalo Light and Supply (not actually sure if they're still open) or Davis Electrical Supply [http://www.daviselectricalsupply.com/](http://www.daviselectricalsupply.com/); both located very near the Galleria in Cheektowaga. It may be worth calling or stopping out at either location to see if they can give you a lead on a small outfit or individual. It would theoretically be mutually beneficial as they are the parts supplier so I don't see why they wouldn't. I believe an electrician needs to be licensed in the City of Buffalo but not in all of the suburbs so make sure to note that when you call.

Integrity Electric. Small local company and the owner Greg does all his own jobs. I had him put in a new meter for electric panel.

Highly recommend Zacher Electric, they did my new service and panel upgrade 7 years ago. Great family owned company. Whatever you do get a few estimates and ideas for your project. Zacher had among the best prices by a lot but also a great plan.

I use Bob Neuman of Home Electric. I have had him as my electrician for several years. He will NOT jerk you around or over charge you. He is extremely honest and good.at what he does.
