I have raw fed my dogs for 1.5- 2 years and started the cats around 3 months ago and i followed a 'cat recipe' off another raw feeding group i use alot, but they started getting bored of it, and on other groups they say to add heart everyday for the taurine and give plenty of variety, and they say to give the same as dogs just add heart every day. Thank you for your reply as dont want to be upsetting my cats bodies. All 4 of the other cats appear to be fine but i dont wat to harm them and obvs i cant see whats going on inside them. I shall leave the garlic out then, they are all indoor cats also and have an outdoor pen for the daytimes which has only recently been made and Casper the ill cat absoultly loves it and as soon as we've brought him inside, he wants to go out, but hes completely deaf so theres no chance of him being an out door cat, and we have alot of roads around us. Im in the UK and we do have couple of ready raw packs that you can buy, would you suggest we change them over to a ready made raw pack? Here is the 'cat recipe' I started them with and they got bored: This is a recipe for one cat, this contains everything a cat would need (lasts approx. 10 to 14 days). For more cats, just make multiples of these amounts: 1 kg Whole Chicken 200 g Heart 50 g Liver 50 g Kidney 2 Raw Eggs Tin of fish (such as sardines/salmon) or 200 g of fresh/minced oily fish Chop everything into chunks, mix together, portion and put into containers, then freeze.Start out with approx 150 g a day for one cat, then adjust this amount to how much your cat needs.
