A couple of years ago we had Mike Holle paint our house, was very happy with the results and liked that he was local from Norwalk. We also had a lot of landscaping done and I will have to look up the gentlemen that did that for us and I will let you know.

I know you just said you have a car and experience with delivery, have you looked into doing GrubHub and/or DoorDash?

Amazon Flex (If you can find a spot) pays hella well. You basically are self-employed by Amazon. You select your hours and your days you want to work and then you deliver packages and food to other people. I’ve been doing it for the past 2 months ish and made about 1 k in tips. It’s pretty nice! Edit: Those tips are just from doing Friday afternoons to Sunday afternoons.

I would recommend applying at DMF Gardens, they need help with delivery of plants and people that don't mind driving all day.

Check out [Your Life Iowa](https://yourlifeiowa.org) as a starting point. They have some really helpful resources and if you talk to someone there, they can lead you through steps towards getting help.
I looked at your profile and it looked like you might be in need of help for some more things besides just homelessness. I know all of the usual resources are busier than normal right now because of the pandemic, but don’t give up! You are worth fighting for and you can do it.
Your Life Iowa can help you deal with many things, including homelessness, job loss, COVID-19, alcoholism, opioids, depression... you name it. They aren’t a one-stop fix for any problem, but they’ll give you resources and help you to use those resources effectively.
Stay safe out there, and stay determined. You CAN get through this.

thank you guys for (good) suggestions for resources...
thing is.. Ive been homeless for years. chronicly. all over america.
Absolutely Nothing is fast. And the system is very much not working to help you.
the "system" sees to many felons on their way back. too many addicts. too many mental health patients...and human faces are just pages anyways. Now add some state funding and your really not getting anywhere.
Work Work Work. Period. is the only Viable help.
Homeless makes it hard. We are Feral at that point.
No power. no water. no toilets. no constant food. constant foraging. constant danger. bad sleep. bad people. drugs.
want to adopt a feral dog? from the woods? F no.
Well we are not animals. we are people. but we are feral. We (the homless) need people willing to work with our rough edges.
Hygene, language, people skills..sketchy attentance.. Work with Us.
ever adopted a rescue? How long to rehab that animal? a month? a year? ten?
How did you do it? love? patients? and Now you got a Darn good pet right?
So Take the time with people. maybe you get a really Good employee... or Friend... or maybe you dont.
Some animals get put down. Some people are kept down. Cant save everyone right?
Wrong. You can. One Iowan at a time.

MyTown2Go is a local food delivery service looking for help, they have minimums on orders so tips are great. It's a very livable wage working a few days per week.
If you have Facebook, theres always people looking for dayworkers.
Craigslist is a great gig place as well.
Brand Ambassadors of IA on Facebook. (Be careful, they usually pay well but pay out after weeks to 90 days. Worth it if you have other options.
BioLife will pay you $500 your first month for plasma too and then $280/ish after.
Man, You link a couple of these gigs together, you're a self-sufficient, self-employed human being. And that's the American Dream.
Good luck to you friend, like AJR said, 100 bad days makes a hundred good stories!
PS:
Please feel free to PM for more specific help on work, I do have a few contacts

I have used Perinal gardens this year. The most companies charge between 2-50 an hours for every person they have in your yard . I believe PG charged $40 x 4. So it adds up. Earl May charges $50 for a design that is deducted from your total if you choose them to do the job.
