I had an experience with Angie at Pet Sakes. Had a family issue come up and had to cancel my dogs appt. I had to leave it on the answering machine. I called back a week or so later and she tells me I have to pay a $40.00 charge for missing my appt......Wth....called n talked to the owner, and I have never been back. Not the owners fault at all, but the help leaves a bad taste in my mouth....

Canine Clean off hickman in des moines ... it's a diy groomer. You do the work, they supply the tools and dog tub. Right by Irenes restaurant, lime green on the side of the building.

Are you looking for something under $80? That isn’t bad for an Australian Shepard! They only need to be groomed every 4 to 6 weeks at the most. Do you get him a full haircut or just a trim usually?!

I had a Lhasa Apso for years that didn't like to be groomed and the paid groomers would eventually ask that I not bring him back so I had to take it on myself. Yes, I called them & they said they only do little Dogs. Melissa'a Shop was Uptown Hairs styles, next door to them to the west. She later moved in the little strip mall just south of Casey's. Now she only has 1 shop & it's in Slater.

We use Terry Browning Ragan - she does it out of her home on the east side a few blocks from the fairgrounds. I wouldn't trust my pup with anyone else.
