As far as how much fabric you'll need, you'll have to read the entire back of the pattern envelope and it will tell you exactly what you need for the size dress you are making. In addition it looks like there are pattern variations, that's what the rest of the requirements are about. Variation A will require whatever is following after the A:, variation B will need whatever follows the B: and so on.
