I need suggestions for a pediatrician and phone numbers that take medicaid!!! I'm so sick of seeing residents and dislike that the faculty doctor has a attitude problem...

Should be the same as Adri. 409-938-8466. He is on their website so it must be something pretty new. http://www.utmbhealth.com/oth/Page.asp?PageID=OTH001027

Dr. Marrietta Cline: Dickinson- 281-534-1300
Llana B. replied:
Yolie Leyva she's not taking new patients
Dottie J. replied:
Adri is wonderful. She kept me with some since of sanity this past year. It looks like Justin Serrette has joined that group now. He just finished his residency but is good.
Dottie J. replied:
Matt Hay is good also but probably isn't taking new patients either.
Yolie L. replied:
You need to try Texas City UTMB pediatrics - Adri Smith. She is excellent and you see her, no residents!
Llana B. replied:
I like Dr. Bell but I never get to see him.
Kimberly K. replied:

Call up NYU Dental School clinic and see if they'll work with you. Good luck. [https://dental.nyu.edu/patientcare.html](https://dental.nyu.edu/patientcare.html) (there's a link on there for medicaid patient info)

Just FYI- most insurance (medicad or other) do not cover the cost of implant.
MBAMBA3 replied:
If the tooth in question is a back molar, people can live without those and extraction is probably the best option. For other teeth, will medicaid pay for a partial (denture)? Maybe she can do that and get an implant some day down the line when she can afford it.

I had a high estimate for two cavities in Brooklyn recently and instead went to Pennsylvania (Scranton) where I have family. It was MUCH cheaper and they discovered from the x-rays one of the cavities was not a cavity at all. It’s a little bit of a hike but it saved me hundreds of dollars.

$1000 is cheap, find the money, save the tooth.

I ended up using www.carecredit.com/ through my dentist to get several fillings done. It spreads out the cost over a few months which is nice. Just make sure you’re able to pay in full each month or it would bite your credit core

Try a hospital with a residency program
TurnDownYourRadio replied:
Would you be willing to share the dentist that quoted you $1000, either in comment or DM? I think I might need one, myself, and that's a pretty decent price
maria_esmeralda replied:
Remember that its not just the root canal that needs to be paid for, but the crown too. I got very angry at my dentist for not mentioning this to me when I needed a root canal last year. At NYU Dental, a root canal will go about $650 and a crown will be around the same price too. This is still expensive, but its almost half of what other places in NYC charge. Good luck!
SleepyZzzombie replied:
Care credit might be the way to go fella
lagokatrine replied:
I have decent insurance finally and still paid about $550 for my root canal. Good luck to him.
BronxLens replied:
Not in the areas you mentioned (sorry) but for great price consider the NYU Dental School in Manhattan. Should her credit be in good standing consider applying for a CareCredit credit card - www.carecredit.com — the school and many other dentist offices accept it.
chilliwog replied:
I went to NYU dental school. I’d have her take a look at them. The students will do the work but the professor is there to double check it. Didn’t have any problems and the cost was reasonable compared to previous dentists I saw. FYI they might still be backup due to Covid so it might take some time until they can see her.
By any chance does anyone know of a pedi doctor. where i can take Kylie that takes medicaid? shes in need of her 2month check up and shot... :)
