I've actually had very good experience with contractors around here. For roofing, I would highly recommend Millenium Roofing, Brandon Davis. Did a great job in every respect. The roof was about a month ole when Irma hit and not one shingle lifted and not a drop in the house. Lived up to everything I expected and would use him again. My name is Cody Taft. Owner and operater of Professional Roof Systems in Brunswick Ga. I appreciate everyone's recommendations for work but sadly we are not able to handle any more work as of right now. My company has gone from 7 weeks out to 8 months out over a two week span and that's me putting nine guys on the road 60 hours plus a week. I know there are plenty of companies around knowledgeable and very good at what they do also, Howell Roofing, Fiveash, Wallings roofing, Myself, ext are all working around the clock trying to fill everybodies needs with insurance quotes, new installs, patch work and meetings with adjusters is what has everyone buried and I can speak for everybody when I say we do apologize. Honesty is key and I agree with everybody when you say we should just let you know we're busy. Your right. The problem is last year when Matthew hit, companies spent 15-18 hour days just dealing with insurance alone and in the end a homeowner has no intention of using anybody but in fact just want to collect the money for personal use so allot more companies have took a step back from it when your paying 10-12 guys 60 hour weeks just to quote jobs. A time where most people think companies are banking on repairs, in all reality you are burying yourself with labor and fuel. It would be great if everybody was as serious as the ones of you that want the work done. It's just that unfortunately allot of people are just trying to collect. I will return any calls on a timely manner and if I cannot help I will try my best to refer anybody to somebody that may can help. I would like to see more companies work together after a disaster like this as for me it is not for the money but making each and every one of you happy. -Cody Taft-
