Does anyone know the number to call to put a special request to get a pediatrician off base? Thanks!
Tovaer B. replied:
all you have to do is go pick up a PCM waiver form from right in front of the medical records office at the clinic. It gives you all the info on how to apply for an off base PCM. It really just consists of sending the form in an email to someone at the Med group and filling out the reason for the request. I told them that it was easier to get an apt off base and the hours of availability off base were better. It doesn't matter where you live. I live on base and my kids go to Columbus to see their doctor.

Number I have that has always worked is 1-877-874-2273

I had Malaynas done at 6 months at Dothan Peds. A few drs there do them. Getting Addelyns done after her 4 month apt. Too.
Beth T. replied:
Definitely do it sooner than later...I waited until Shelby was a yr old. Way too long. She was hard to hold down and I felt horrible. They aren't the cutest earrings at the Peds office but something about a doctor doing it gave me a comforting feeling. Dr. Ramsey wasn't there that day so Dr. Freeman did Shelby's. We chose the rhinestones and then changed her to her real diamond earrings later. Her ears look great:)
