[https://www.discountedlabs.com/](https://www.discountedlabs.com/) You pay up front for the tests you want. The referral is included, and you go to LabCorp for the blood test. You get an email 7-10 days later with a PDF of the results.

Check with e7Health, with 2 Vegas locations: [https://www.e7 health.com/lab-services/](https://www.e7 health.com/lab-services/) They have discounts on labs, and there's a doctor onsite who can help if you have questions. I went there to get some vaccinations ahead of a trip outside of the US, and their prices were good. And they will tell you up front on the costs.

UMC quick care or Main ER always works. We take plenty of people without insurance. Free turkey sandwiches and bus passes too.
Does anybody know of a good physician to treat gout here in Vegas? I am uninsured, and have been having a rough time trying to find a good physician to deal with my gout...
lasveganon replied:
If you are uninsured, do you qualify for medicaid? There are a couple clinics that take uninsured. Try Nevada Health Center at the Salvation Army campus on Owens. Brian Lane is the doctor and is very nice. He will probably write you the allopurinol prescription you need.

Cherry juice, if you can find it. Something in the cherries helps the acid levels go down. My grandpa had it real bad and swore cherry juice was the best remedy.

Hey bud I also suffer from gout but haven't visited a doctor for it yet. Have you looked into some natural foods that combat uric acid? Also, how hydrated do you stay?

Have you tried activated charcoal? It neutralized uric acid and seems to work well for Gout. [Here's](https://charcoalremedies.com/2019/06/05/gout/) an article with recommendations in that regard.
bonekitty replied:
Any good internist or FP should be able to manage gout. If you want to go one step higher, then look for a rheumatologist. Hydrate. Hydrate. Hydrate. Avoid dehydrating foods, alcohol, red meat. You need to consider kidney problems for certain medications. Allopurinol may make your symptoms worse if you have a flare. If you’re uninsured, look into Medicaid or ACA plans.

I've heard a lot of people having liver issues on that stuff. And for me a dietary change works

Black cherry juice, not from concentrate. Can sometimes find at Trader Joe's. Not the sour cherry juice though. A shot of Apple cider vinegar with "the mother" always helped me keep it under control. I mixed it with cinnamon and honey in a cup of water. Best course is a prescription for allopurinol to get uric acid down and then indomethacin when you do have an attack.

A little off subject but fresh pineapple juice is suppose to help relieve symptoms of gout. It helped my mother in law.

Dr Scott Lamprecht, he does cash pay and is a really great. He is an APRN with a doctorate in Nursing. Great bedside manner and very knowledgeable.

I drank a ton of water and did not notice a change. My dr didn't want me on the forever drugs to reduce, so just gave me pain killers. I find that I need to walk at least a mile a day and that seems to help. Good luck.
Medical help - Breathing / Lung / Respiratory help? Feeling really scared I’ve been fighting an upper respiratory infection for several weeks. I have been twice to...
MsKim replied:
You posted nine hours ago so I hope you aren't dead but difficulty breathing is one of those things you go immediately to the hospital for. You know how people die from the flu? It isn't the high temperature part, it is the respiratory arrest part where you can't breathe then die. Go to the hospital if you can't breathe! Edit: here's a free clinic in Vegas https://www.vmsn.org/

I would just go to the emergency room. What good is worrying about a medical bill if you are dead. Everyone should have health insurance. Don’t forget open enrollment ends Dec 15 th.
