Hi,
Anyone knows how and where to go tested for other food allergies/intolerances? I heard about Chinese medicine and chiropractors... any suggestions please??

A decent enough summary of some of the dubious tests offered.. http://www.kidswithfoodallergies.org/page/unproven-methods-food-allergy-tests.aspx

Listen to the allergy testing section of this R4 You & Yours programme, it was on earlier in the year and it's a very good, quick overview of the shortcomings of the online tests (also applies to most of the in-house health food shop testing as well) - there's more available on the NHS than most people (and possibly most GPs) are aware of.. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b05 wz0 kp

I had breath tests done at Guys & St Thomas hospital in London. Took a few visits to my Gp then a written complaint to get there though. They really arent interested around here. The breath tests included fructose, lactulose and lactose. The dieticians also do a fodmap diet, which is basically trial and error, something which I was sick of trying at that point!
Can any of you fine intelligent Facebook people recommend a chiropractor to go to in the Newtown area? I don't currently have health insurance. So something that won't...

There are quite a few good chiropractors in town. What works for one may not work for another. For example, I prefer to see only female health care practitioners. That said, my family and I see Dr Heidi Bencsik on E State St in town.
