Richard Thompson I've just had a new clutch fitted and now when i gun it in second it jolts at 4 then 6 thou revs. The Triumph mechanic (who has done a few R3's) advised on the above, obviously I'm trying to find the cheapest way to get it fixed. Either way it an engine out!!!

Well i've spoken to Sandy at Triumphant (top bloke) and Webbs mechanic Andy (another top bloke) and it looks like it is an engine out job for sure. For Triumph to just do the gearbox issue I'm looking at around £1800 due to the labour involved! For Triumphant to pick up my bike (I'm in Lincolnshire they are based in south sheep shagging territory) and complete a full bike 2009 upgrade which is 110 items for a grand more! (they do a lot of work for Triumph dealerships so they know there stuff) If i went with the £1800 option i still would need the cam chain tensioners/output shaft bearing etc etc doing in the not so distant future which is another engine out (18hrs in/out...kerching!) So I'm having to bite the bullet - why don't these issues show up in winter?....pls if anyone reading this message knows my wife FFS don't tell her how much!!!!

The R3 company in Wales is Triumphant run by Sandy. Hopefully this isnt a repeat of an earlier post.
