Can someone suggest a quality vet to desex a small female dog? I'm willing to travel for the best vet possible. Thanks

Devoted vets in Warragul are very caring. We have had a cat and a goat desexed there. We go to them for all our animals.

I still travel back to Alan Forte & his team at Racecourse Road Veterinary Clinic in Pakenham. Really reasonably priced and just awesome staff all round. I would not take my dogs anywhere else. They are now also open on a Sunday!!

I have had 3 medium size female dogs desexed at Drouin Vets and take all my animals there. Very happy with them and have been using them for nearly 19 years.

Just had my girl at Baw Baw paws by Duncan... Was awesome, cheaper and he stitched her so well she doesn't have a scar, couldn't hardly see it it was so neat even just after he did it. He has a great manner too, as does Terry. Duncan fixed her umbilical hernia too same time for an extra 50 bux!!!

I was quoted $500 to desex a female dog under 15 kgs from Devoted pets. Not sure what other places are like but just wanted to share what I was quoted

Morning can anyone recommend a good vet I've just moved to drouin thanks!
Coral B. replied:
Warragul veterinary clinic has two offices, one in Warragul and one in Drouin and I have had wonderful and compassionate treatment from them. They all charge like wounded bulls but that is the nature of veterinary science I suppose. However, they are skilled and caring and that is important to me.
Cassie T. replied:
Devoted vets! They have been fab with my pup. I guess it depends on yourself and how you feel when you use them.

Margie C. replied:
Baw Baw paws.. Terri and the young guy vet there are wonderful. Had a very bad experience with locum at Others. also they charged 30 more for same injection than BBPs. Got proof of that. Rather than get you in for follow ups that really are not needed BBPs rings you to see if you are travelling well. They clip my little ones claws as well for no charge and they get a cuddle too. The other day I got my puppy her last injection and the vet there took a lot of time to go over stuff and give advice..I was getting worried is be charged...but no..only 70 for whole consult and injection. Once recently I had emergency after hours..only 200 and that included two kinds of meds...pretty pleased.

Baw Baw paws in Warragul are absolutely fantastic! Haven't found better service anywhere else. The staff are friendly and have great customer service and they love and care for ur furbabies as if they are their own.
Stacey S. replied:
Baw Baw paws for me too. They are wonderful. I couldn't ask for a more caring and friendly place to take my furbabies. But in saying that - I'm so sure all vets around here are wonderful - I've never heard anything bad at all.
Hi just wondering if anyone knows of a good vet that doesn't cost the earth? Thanks

I have been going to Racecourse Road Vet Clinic in Pakenham for years. Even though I moved from Pakenham Upper & moved here, I still go back there! Awesome vets; very reasonably priced.
Looking for a vet that is willing to give my son some work experience while doing his cert 3 and then he's hoping to do his cert 4 . He is on DSP and very shy . His goal...
Lauren S. replied:
Bunyip vets are amazing try them. He may have to wait if they already have a student as they are a small vet but they have a vet that works at the vet centre and another vet that does a lot of the local dairy farms so he may have a chance to do both
