Personal Recommendations for Rental Car Hello all. So i need a car for 6 days and with the, what feels like, hundreds of rental companies offering deal this and deal...
ConfidentNobody6 replied:
Just rent from multinational rent a car companies, small ones don't offer real full insurance and if you read the contract, you will be scared.
SnowdenIsALegend replied:
ezhire.ae, Diamond rental car, eurostar, quicklease.ae, speedydrive.ae are the cheapest I've seen... Although haven't tried them all yet. Also, wherever you book, book for 7 days instead of 6, as the per day charge will drop substantially.

udrive? no security deposit
Grimmgoll replied:
Many thanks for the replies, i'll be taking your advice and sticking to the more well known/multinational companies. Possibly hertz, avis or thrifty depending on who gives me the better rate for a car i can tolerate driving.

Depending on my experience after renting many times: [Dollaruae.com](https://Dollaruae.com) Diamond Budget

Check the established rental companies and try to stay away for independent ones as they ate notorious for additional charges and fees. Also, try Indigo. They have an app for iOS
I need a monthly rental car in Dubai at the end of March. Can anyone recommend a cheap car rental agency in Dubai that will rent by the month?
rj_yul replied:
Thrifty in Al Quoz is the cheapest. Trust me I've been renting for the past five months. Older cars but who cares. It's 1250 AED w/o full insurance or 1500 with full insurance.
ShowmetheP replied:
Diamond Lease are good, IIRC I paid 1350 per month for a 1.6 Mitsubishi Lancer. Remember to haggle.
Java_Beans replied:
Dollar has cars starting from 1600 per month, Yaris is at 1700.
FaeLLe replied:
Hertz has some good corporate rates for long leases. CWD included and everything.
koshythomas replied:
Last year I had taken a Nissan Micra from Shift Leasing for AED 1500/month. Salik, traffic fines and petrol bills to be considered separately.
burgembira replied:
Premium Car Rentals has given me good monthly rates, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. For 1700 aed a month I get a Hyundai Accent.
pqgbd replied:
I've had a decent experience with Al Emad(Quicklease) in Barsha. There's also Amex rentals in Garhoud, they have older cars and a pretty easygoing process with lower prices than all the newer or bigger players.
Varerkars replied:
have a look at https://ejarcar.com. They have some good deals on rentals in dubai.
Does anyone know of any local Aberdeen car rental places? Trying to find a car to rent when home in the summer but the big company's are wanting an absolute fortune!

Any recommendations for car rentals? I'd like to rent a Lambo or something fun while I'm there. I'll be there a couple weeks for work, and I figure I might as well take...
yesmaamsir replied:
To be honest, I think very few locals rent supercars.
Been here 6 years, never rented anything more super than a Passat while being between cars :D
A few pointers though, plenty of the car companies have offers on cobone.com and groupon - so might be worth checking out. Also remember to also haggle - there will always be a margin to cut price.
You could also check out Yas Circuit or Dubai Autodrome if you want to try and drive really fast - as almost all useful roads in UAE will have cameras.
Last thing, car rental companies are notorious scammy and this is also the case in Dubai, so get video and pictures of the car before you take it out and after you return it back - Protect yourself from loosing your deposit. Often the deposit will be credit card and they will not return it before you left the country.
