If u are in cork then i would highly recommend Paul Hudson and associates, a true gentleman and easy to deal with. We just got planning for our two storey extension and he did all the hard work, designing and getting planning for us. And he has some great cost effective ideas.
Elaine D. replied:

Dublin Crowd Sourcing : Have you fixed up or extended a house in the last few years? looking for recommendations/advice in terms of choosing an architect and builder.
Lorraine M. replied:
Hi Mick, our house was renovated and extended recently - great job, great architect who also designed lots of practical storage space and a deadly bench with storage in the kitchen. Builder was really good too with everything finished off really well and on time. Both v pleasant to deal with. Architect John Feeley, Builder Alan Kelly.
Anyone know a surveyor or architect they can recommend?
Áine L. replied:
Lisa you can just get onto www.osi.ie website and you can buy an ordnance survey map for whatever area you want. You could always ring them up and give them the address of the area you want the map of and they can print off and send out to you. They are very helpful
Sarah W. replied:
Just used Kennedy & Associates. Waiting on written report but seem thorough enough if you want I'll send you details
[Grown-up question] Anyone recommend an architect they've used? Specifically if it happens to be someone who's done restoration work on a Victorian house!
