Can anyone recommend a child-friendly dentist in the Dublin 9 area? This will be first trip for toddler so don't want to put her off! Thanks
Marena D. replied:
Dr Eimear Tomey in the corner of the ballymun road and Collins ave is lovely and has kids so chats away. She's a private dentist so charges 20 euro for a checkup. I've gone to her for years and took my LO when she got all her teeth.
Yvonne W. replied:
Ruth Stokes at 173 Main St Ballymun (corner of Collins Ave) same practice as Eimear Toomey - she is great, has 2 kids herself and really gets the concerns. Most up to date tech and refers where appropriate. Highly recommended!
Elodie H. replied:
the lady dentist that Ellen is talking about, her name is Orla Dunford and she's still there@the 123 Ballymun Road practice. I was able to make an appointment recently. She is very good with kids!
Amanda R. replied:
Noeleen, is there a problem (even small) with her teeth, or do you just want a check up? If you have a concern, the HSE clinic in the Ballymun Civic Centre is fantastic (though, not sure if that would be your local clinic...)
Ellen C. replied:
The lady dentist (I've forgotten her name) who worked with Dr Paul Neil at 100 Ballymun road is excellent. I'm not sure if she's still there though frown emoticon I 2 nd Amanda 's recommendation re Ballymun - found them excellent BUT they are V strick re the catchment area frown emoticon
Amanda R. replied:
Paul Neal is great. Ellen Cullen, I don't think that woman is there right now but the other two are lovely. They do nt charge for kids either.
