Looking for recommendations on a pediatrician that's close to Dublin and powers.
Ines S. replied:
Pediatric and Associates. Dr Baswell and Dr. MacHaffie, 596-4502. All the Stabler kids go/went there. The are at Tutt and Barnes, across from Sky Sox. Just go to top 3 places and get a fell for their office staff and ask when their next available well child visit is and sick child visit is to get a sense of how quickly you can get in to see the doctor. You also need to make sure the office accepts your insurance!
Judy S. replied:
Dr, Underhill on corner of Powers and Woodmen. 597-8704 Been our pediatrician for 15 years.
Elisa C. replied:
I love ABC pediatrics. It is on research and union by Albertsons. I see Golda but Dr. Kim is also great.
Eva D. replied:
I'm with Janna on this one! Dr. Bagnal is awesome and everyone else we've seen at her practice is too!
Rachel V. replied:
Dublin Primary is PHENOMENAL. I highly recommend them. Dr. Loerzel is my boy's pediatrician, and I see Zirkle. Fantastic staff. And this office is where a lot of drs send THEIR kids.
Janna K. replied:
Iron horse pediatrics has an office right off of powers. North of Dublin a bit. Dr Bagnal is awesome.
Matt B. replied:
Dr. Loerzel...
Vicki M. replied:
Dr. Kautz at Dublin Primary is amazing..
Kris R. replied:
I second Ines' recommendation. Been going to Dr. Baswell for 20 years. Wow! Has it been that long? Is Bem nice that both my kids have gone to the same Dr. For the duration. So, with that said. . . Look for someone who will be in practice for the duration of your kid's 18 years. Because they end up going every year for physicals well into high school. It's nice that they have all the history!
Ralene B. replied:
We do... Not have any children. However, I meet/work with many pediatricians, and I agree that Iron Horse Pediatrics has impressive providers. I've spent time in their north office before and it and their work was phenomenal.
Karen R. replied:
I think Dr Kautz sees half of Woodmen's children!
RobandTresa F. replied:
Dr. Nancy Dawson - Dublin Primary Care - Dublin and Union
Stephanie F. replied:
Bruce Kautz hands down. Not sure if he still does, but he used to be a member of Woodmen.
Liz J. replied:
Yep, Nancy Dawson at Dublin Primary Care is amazing. She has taken care of my kids since we moved here in 2000.
I need some help finding a pediatrician for our new little guy coming in April. I don't know where to start but I have to let my doctor know my choice by 36 weeks (only...
Becky J. replied:
Kidzdocs: Pediatric Associates in Central Ohio is where we take our three. We have had great experiences there - have been very supportive of us through a variety of experiences with our kiddos. Very knowledgeable, very good with the kids! And I love that when they are sick you can get right in with someone!
Ashley P. replied:
Dr. Tyler Rogers at Rainbow pediatrics is amazing! He always listens to my concerns and gives me great advice! There is a triage nurse line you can call during the day to ask any questions and then after hours they give you a number to call any time! They call you to schedule appointments if you forget and send reminder phone calls for scheduled appointments. I feel like he genuinely cares about my child. Happy hunting!
Amy E. replied:
I've hard good things about Dr. Mahoney, but we just switched to Step by Step Pediatrics (Dr. McClellan). I've heard good things about all of the docs there, but we're so so happy with McClellan. We switched from Mid Ohio Pediatrics because we were so unhappy there.
Kelly V. replied:
I go to American Health Networks in Centerburgh. Dr Lee Hornstein is the Dr, but I see his nurse practitioner, Timberlee Medeker. but sure on all the spellings, but I love her. We have been going there since Michael was a baby because the old nurse practitioner was a family friend but moved away, but we stayed there because we really liked it. They are great about getting us in quickly when needed and a smaller practice too. Also not a bad drive for us. Timberlee is a new mom and is very sweet and I feel like she always gives me the answers I need and makes me feel comfortable. Good Luck!
Cassie W. replied:
We use Westerville Pediatric Specialists. They have an office at St. Ann's and one in Sunbury, right behind Tim Hortons. We see Dr. Michelle Yaw almost exclusively. She's very loving with the boys and has always been very honest and pull-no-punches with us, which we appreciate. We never feel rushed, and she's always really good about anticipating our concerns or questions. The Sunbury office is never, ever crowded, although the hours there are not as flexible as at the main location. There are I think 3 other doctors in the practice and a couple of NPs, who we've seen occasionally -- but we have been so very happy with Dr. Yaw.
Jennifer R. replied:
Step by Step in Westerville is awesome! Dr McClellan is Luca's doctor! He is great. Rylan sees Dr. Niland and she is awesome too!
Kristen B. replied:
Riversedge pediatrics is great! Specifically Dr. Michelle Mahoney. She is great and only 20 mins from Sunbury. We've been with her since 08 and her nurses are all awesome. Especially Teresa. My girls are very comfortable with them both. Good luck with your search!
Doug H. replied:
i second Ashley. Oliver sees Dr Rogers in new Albany as well. Good people and good facility.
Carrie I. replied:
We loooooove ours!!! Matt & Kristy referred us when Jadyn was born! We couldn't be happier with him...Dr. McClellan with COPC - Step by Step Pediatrics! Good luck:)
Dana V. replied:
You might ask Daryn Violet Ackley. We had Dr. Maher as kids & her little girl goes to her now. Not sure of her location information.
Laura C. replied:
Dr Daniel Heinmiller at Gahanna pediatrics is one of the wonderful men in world. I would HIGHLY recommend him!!!
Megan E. replied:
...more on Sunbury pediatrics, like someone said earlier about Dr Yaw she's amazing, she tells it like it is and will straight up talk to your kiddo like they are a human being and not a baby. I liked that no-nonsense approach. Having kids at GRE and living where we do, there have been times when I get the dreaded "sick" call and have been lucky enough to be able to get fit in to that days schedule. When Dylan had to have his appendix out Dr Yaw was the first stop before she recommended we make our way to Children's. She called ahead, spoke to the ER and the doctor on call there that day and they were prepared for us! She called us later that night and again the next morning to send her well wishes and support. All the other drs and np at SP are amazing and just as caring. I feel so blessed to have her and the practice right at the end of our street! I've recommended the practice to a couple of girlfriends and they love her too! Good luck!
Jessica A. replied:
I used to work for Rainbow Pediatrics...including for Dr Tyler. I also interned at Riverside Peds. You are welcome to give me a call and I would be glad to talk out those options with you and share my thoughts there.

Jody M. replied:
PLEASE stay away from DePaul. I work for St.Louis Children's Hospital and I highly recommend you call their Children's Care Hotline. They will give you some recommendations and you van view the drs. on line to decided what's best for you. The Children's drs. are at Missouri Baptist and the NEW center opening at Mason and hwy 40.
I am looking for a Pediatrician and was wondering if anyone had any good recommendations?!
Sarah S. replied:
Dr Kim Rothermel! She's amazing! She was mine and my brother's when we were kids. Unfortunately they don't accept my health insurance for my daughter, but she is very good. Also she explains things very well and makes them easier to understand!!
Tiffany S. replied:
We go to Ohio Center for Pediatrics off Frantz* rd lol and love it. All the doctors are great but we decided to go with Bar Lev bc she really cares and takes her time with all her patients
Jennifer H. replied:
Dr. Dairo or Dr. Sotos. They are amazing!
Beth W. replied:
Dr Messick and Dr Thompson on Dierker road. It's a small practice, but are have always been able to squeeze us in. Their nurse practitioner/lactation consultant is amazing as well. If you call them, you can set up and meet and greet to see if you like either one.
