Where I live its physically impossible to work on my car, my "driveway" is a nursing home parking lot, as I was working on my car the first time and I was told by said nursing home that it would be towed if I continued. As well as my mechanic its a trusted mechanic that we've( my family and I) have gone to for 10 years. Good people they are.

Orrrrr make them, but since you’re having a mechanic do the work that this won’t be an option for you

You can buy the hard brake lines pre-bent from the dealer IIRC, but making your own isn't hard. Most of the fuel line is generic 5/16" or 8 mm, but get something nice that is ethanol resistant. The soft brake lines and clutch line are available new from various retailers, I like FCP Euro.

Another option is to call a BMW specific parts yard and ask about used lines. https://www.bimmerparts.ca These guys are down the road from me, and probably have the largest collection of e30 parts in Canada. If you're in USA, you can probably afford it as the CAD is .75 vs the USD.
