Hey Kelly, you want to stay local t City Center so you have all bars available and without major walking everywhere. The Morgans Hotel (http://www.themorgan.com/) or The Temple Bar Hotel will be right in the heart of Dublin, a bit of cash but cant go wrong with location. Anywhere else, you will be screw payin for taxi fares which in Dublin is simply not worth it. Email me if you need any further help.
