Going to view pollokshields burgh halls on Saturday for our wedding venue. Heard really good reviews about it! Anyone recommend any other townhalls glasgow/renfrew area!...

Pollockshields Burgh Hall is one of my favourite venues! It's gorgeous, the staff are lovely and friendly and there's always a great atmosphere. Town Halls are my favourite because you can generally make it look however you want. The picture David posted above shows how amazing they can look with some moodlighting etc. And he's right that Clydebank Town Hall looks amazing since it's been done up. It's way bigger than Pollockshields if you need the space. There's always venues with a town hall feel like The Piping Centre in the city centre or The Cruin which has the added bonus of a stunning view of Loch Lomond. Here's a photo of a wedding we did at Pollockshields in March. I don't know if you can see them but the candlelit bird cages on the table looked fab! And there's a link to a blog about one of the best weddings we've ever worked at Alloa Town Hall (just to see what a whole town hall wedding looks like. x https://www.facebook.com/Amplifivemusic/photos/a.10150163965290962.344979.331291740961/10153281502970962/?type=3&theaterhttp://theweddingcommunityblog.com/2013/01/03/a-beautiful-wedding-at-alloa-town-hall/
