Hi, I was wondering if anyone could recommend any kennels locally? The one I normally use is full (Milton Mills Kennel) and I'm a bit nervous about using somewhere else...

I use Gallowmyre Kennels at Pitroddie. They are brilliant. x

Hi Lorna, I would have recommended Milton Mill and Gallowmyre as well both excellent which is why they are probably full. We have used Dave at Kinnochtry for 12 years but he has retired this year. Are you going away for long, if only a few days and you think it would suit Rolo, we offer home boarding in the dog's own home. it involves 3-4 visits for walk/feed in their own home. We've helped a few clients like this as some dogs struggle in kennels, happy to discuss if you think it wouldsuit you and Rolo

Thanks everyone, will check some of those out. Ian, I know Carol so sent her a message yesterday. Don't think home boarding would work though as we're away for 10 days & he's used to quite a lot of company. I'm gutted Milton Mills is full as we've used them since he was a young pup so like a 2 nd home to him and he loves it there. Hopefully work something out though. Thank you for all the recommendations x
Christine W. replied:
Milton Mill fills up really quickly at busy times, months in advance. I used to work at the Cats Hotel and we were full over summer holidays and that can board over 130 cats. We used to liaise with Janice if customers with cats had dogs and vice versa so I know she was booked up very quickly.
